Do you own an object, letter, or photograph that can help tell Newnan and Coweta’s stories? Then, we want to hear from you!
Just like our Veteran’s Donation Program, the NCHS wants to collect items that can tell the stories of of Newnan and Coweta communities and its people through locally donated artifacts. The donations often become part of our permanent collection and may be used for research or in an upcoming exhibit at one of our museums.
Artifacts can be any number of items, including photographs, letters and postcards, clothing, and “everyday” objects, for examples. The list goes on!
If you own an object or item that you believe the NCHS may be interested in, please call 770-251-0207, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or stop by our office at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum at the corner of Jackson and Clark Streets.
You never know if what you have been saving in your closets, attics, or basements can help us interpret history!
