Contribute to Our Collection

Do you own an object, letter, or photograph that can help tell the story of Newnan and Coweta County? We want to hear from you!

The NCHS collects items that tell the stories of Newnan and Coweta communities and its people through locally donated artifacts. The donations often become part of our permanent collection and may be used for research or in an upcoming exhibit at one of our museums.

Artifacts can be any number of items, including:

  • photographs
  • letters and postcards
  • clothing
  • and other everyday objects!

If you own an object or item that you believe the NCHS may be interested in, please call 770-251-0207, email [email protected], or stop by our office at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum at the corner of Jackson and Clark Streets.

You never know if what you have been saving in your closets, attics, or basements can help us interpret history!

A collected artifact: the NCHS collects items that can tell stories of the Newnan-Coweta communities and its people.
